I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker experienced in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Mental Health with a special interest in Child and Adolescent Mental Health including pre and postnatal mental health, birth trauma, parenting adjustment, and attachment.
My practice utilises a relational approach meaning I work with you as a partner in the process in which we both seek to understand the difficulties that have brought you to seek support.
I use an integrated practice framework including attachment models such as Circle of Security and PACE model, trauma-informed models such as Internal Family Systems and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and, cognitive models such as Schema Therapy, and others as indicated.
In addition to private practice, I continue a role in public mental health where I have 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, parents, and pre/postnatal women and families.
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker I provide services under the Mental Health Better Access Medicare scheme. Medicare rebates are available to patients referred by a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician under a Mental Health Care Plan. You are welcome to attend appointments without any referral, however the session fee will need to be privately covered.
